Have questions about our sourdough, ordering, or cottage bakery process? You’ll find the most common answers below — from how we bake to where we ship in Colorado.
A cottage bakery is a small, home-based business that makes baked goods in a private kitchen rather than a commercial facility. Under Colorado’s Cottage Food Law, we can bake and sell directly to customers without a retail storefront. This allows us to focus on quality, freshness, and handcrafted care in every loaf and pastry.
You can order directly through our website. Choose your items, select pickup in Blanca or shipping anywhere in Colorado, and we’ll bake your order fresh. Because we don’t have a storefront, all orders must be placed in advance.

No — all of our sourdough products contain gluten. However, the natural fermentation process in sourdough helps break down some of the gluten and phytic acid, making it easier to digest for many people compared to breads made with commercial yeast.
Our sourdough breads and pastries stay fresh for several days at room temperature. For longer storage, we recommend freezing them in an airtight bag and reheating as needed. We never use preservatives, so everything is best enjoyed within a few days of delivery.
